Houses
As an owner, you are responsible for all external maintenance. This includes door and windows.
Flats
If you own a flat, your service charge covers the external maintenance of buildings, as well as the maintenance of internal communal areas.
Surfaces like paintwork and flooring in communal areas are refreshed periodically. Doors and windows in communal areas are also replaced periodically.
Inside your flat, the doors are your responsibility. Your lease will set out information relating to external doors and windows - please contact us before planning any changes.
If you’re concerned about damp or mould issues in your home, don’t hesitate to contact us. We can book an inspection of your home, and talk you through any concerns you may have. Services related to damp and mould are paid for as part of your rent.
