Tenancy visits
Please note: if you are a home owner, a resident in an almshouse, or a tenant on a six-month assured shorthold tenancy who has paid a deposit, this section may not apply to you.
We will need to visit you in your home from time to time, as set out in your tenancy agreement:
- We'll contact all new tenants within four weeks of their tenancy starting to make an appointment to visit you or talk on the phone. It's an opportunity to see how you're settling in, talk about any issues, and see if you need any help.
- When you've been in your home for around nine months, we'll want to meet with you again to discuss your tenancy and any issues or queries you've got. We'll also carry out an inspection of your property, and a tenancy fraud check.
If you'd like to see your community co-ordinator but can't get to an NCHA office, they will be able to book a visit to meet you at your home - contact us to make arrangements.
