Energy saving
Reducing the amount of energy you use around your home saves money and helps protect the planet.
The government have a special fund to support this called the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. The fund was set up to help housing providers complete energy improvements to older homes. We’ve received money from this fund to make some homes more energy efficient. This will enable us to help customers to save energy and stay warm affordably.
We’re identifying homes for these upgrades and contacting customers about energy improvements.
Saving money on your bills
We know that many people are struggling with the increased cost of living. Thinking about how you can save money around your home could help.
Take control of your energy use by:
- Using energy-saving light bulbs and covering your pans when cooking.
- Submitting regular meter readings, so you only pay for the energy you use. Getting a smart meter can help to keep track of your energy use.
- Turning off unused appliances and bleeding your radiators to warm your home more efficiently.
