Reflecting on her apprenticeship, Marisa says: “The apprenticeship helped me to reveal my full potential. It gave me a boost in my confidence and the tools I needed to go back to university.”

Marisa has gone on to thrive studying for a Joint Honours Accounting and Finance qualification at Nottingham Trent University.

One of the biggest benefits Marisa gained from her apprenticeship was the confidence to pursue her ambitions. The structured learning, combined with real-world experience, equipped her with practical skills that she continues to use in her studies and career.

NCHA’s support made all the difference. “I am grateful for the opportunities they have given me, including some work experience in the Finance department,” Marisa says. “I couldn’t be more excited! This has only been possible because of the apprenticeship.”
