My NCHA privacy notice
What information do we collect and why do we collect it?
We collect information about you when you create a My NCHA account. Your account has its own username and password, and this information is stored by Plentific, the supplier we work with. The usernames and passwords are stored in the UK, and Plentific regularly review their security procedures to ensure that comprehensive standards of security are met.
Once you have created an account, your username and password can be used to access the data we hold about you, such as information about your tenancy. For that reason, we ask you to keep your username and password safe and private.
How do we collect this information?
Data we collect in My NCHA is collected from you as you use services on the site, such as requesting a repair or making a payment. We also collect some anonymised data on usage of My NCHA, which we use to help improve the services we provide.
How will we use this information?
We use this data to respond to your queries and act on your requests. If you have given us permission, our staff can also login to My NCHA as you, so that they can help you if you are struggling to use the site. Users of My NCHA are required to supply an email address, and we will use this if we need to send you a message about your My NCHA account – for example, if you have forgotten your password and requested that we send you a reminder.
Who will we share it with?
Your username and password are stored and processed by Plentific, a UK-based company that we work with. Data related to repairs that you need carried out at your home or in communal areas at your property is stored and processed by Fortem, who are also based in the UK. Other data that you have provided to us, including information relating to your tenancy, is stored in NCHA’s own systems and can only be accessed by NCHA staff.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to view any information the organisation holds about you. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date, and you can make updates to certain information by logging in to your My NCHA account. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
