How we can help
We provide specialist refuge and community-based support to adults and children who are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic abuse.
We also provide specialist children and young person support along with a Young person’s Advocacy service for high risk victims of abuse and our Choices service for children displaying concerning behaviours.
Wish also facilitate the Changes programme; a behaviour change perpetrator intervention to support those harming people they care about.
We're able to offer one-on-one and group support sessions to suit individual needs. Here at NCHA Derbyshire Wish we provide services in Erewash, South Derbyshire as well as parts of the Amber Valley and Derbyshire Dales.
People accessing our support are assigned a key worker who will help them plan the support they would like to help them move forward with their life in a way they feel safe.
Support can include:
- creating a personal safety plan
- emotional support in dealing with the effects of Domestic Abuse and recovery
