How we can help 

The service delivers a supportive place to live for people at risk of homelessness, often following a period of more intensive support. Support workers work with residents to help them learn essential life skills and move on to more permanent, independent living after six months.

Who we support

We provide assistance to adults who are experiencing mental ill health.
Our support includes a 12-week program post stay whilst transitioning into the community.

What support do we provide?

We are all different, so our personalised support plans are created with each individual person in mind. We will work with people to build their confidence, support wellbeing in the community and access support from local health and social care experts.

Our support will focus on individual strengths to support people to establish routines, promoting independent living skills and community connections.

We will make referrals to additional services, to support needs, and assist in securing a permanent home.

The support we offer

• Support planning using a strengths-based approach to help identify goals and develop a plan to achieve them
• A dedicated keyworker
• Support sessions and regular service user meetings
• Out-of-hours support provided by our Customer Wellbeing team
• Service users will be encouraged to become involved with the service user magazine, service user workshops and the running of the project
• Respect for choices, privacy, confidentiality and promotion of equalities and diversity
• Advice and signposting to other specialist services – e.g. welfare benefits
• A 12-week program post stay whilst transitioning into the community.

Accommodation

Malone Terrace is purpose-built for supported living and named after our founder, Andrew Malone.

Located off Farnborough Road in Clifton, we are close to local shops, amenities and transport links. We are also set within the grounds of a new mixed-use community, with plenty of open green space.

The two-storey building has 14 self-contained fully furnished flats, which are completed to a high standard. Each has one double bedroom, a shower room, a kitchen and a lounge/diner. The building is designed for people who may have mobility issues. There is also a communal courtyard, which can be used at any time.
