Carers
A carer is anyone, including children and adults, who looks after a family member, partner or friend that needs help and support because of their illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction.

When you’re a carer for someone else, you also need to make time to care for yourself. Mind have a guide to supporting yourself while caring for someone.
Some councils have schemes to provide local support services.
