Accessing banking services

You can do banking online if you have the right skills – but there are still ways to bank offline.

In the UK, we’ve seen a lot of banks close their local branches. Local post offices have also closed as well, and this can make it very difficult for people to access banking services if they don’t have access to the internet.

If you want to help a friend or neighbour who isn’t able access their bank online, you could support them to find a banking hub near them. These hubs offer face-to-face services where you can deal with a range of banks, all in one place. There are banking hubs in towns around the UK, and more are being opened all the time.

Barclays Digital Wings is a free online platform for NCHA customers. You can use it to access everything from debt management support to life skills courses and financial wellbeing workshops.
