We’re officially a Great Place To Work®!
We’ve been officially certified as a Great Place To Work® for the second year in a row.
We worked with the global authority on workplace culture to survey all of our colleagues, and thanks to the positivity of their responses we can officially continue to call ourselves Great Places To Work-certified™.
A great place to work
The survey has demonstrated, that once again, we’re a great place to work – in fact 77% of our colleagues say that. That’s a great result compared to the UK average figure of 54%.
The results also list us as one of the UK’s best workplaces for women. We’re number 49 in the top 50 of ‘super large’ organisations, which compares us to many much bigger businesses.
NCHA Chief Executive, Paul Moat, says:
“I’m really pleased that NCHA has achieved the Great Places To Work certification™ again. We’ve worked hard in recent years to put many initiatives in place to support our colleagues, so it’s nice that this has been recognised.
“Whilst the continued certification is great news for us, we’re never complacent, and we’ll be analysing the results to see where we can make further improvements.”
Some other key results that colleagues told us include:
- 93% say people are treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation
- 91% say that we’re a physically safe place to work
- 89% say people are treated fairly regardless of their sex
- 89% say people are treated fairly regardless of their race
- 86% say that when you join NCHA, you are made to feel welcome.

Our ambitions
At NCHA our colleagues are at the heart of our mission to deliver ‘homes and support by people who care’. In our corporate plan, called ‘Our Ambitions’, we outline our 12 key ambitions for NCHA over the next five years. For our colleagues, we want to ensure that they feel ‘valued and empowered to be the best they can be, in a culture of inclusivity and wellbeing’ and these results show we’re achieving that goal.
