Better pay for social care
NCHA has joined forces with social care providers across the country to challenge the government to deliver better pay for social care.
At NCHA, we’ve been providing essential social care services for vulnerable people across the East Midlands since the 1970s.
We have more than 800 colleagues working as frontline social care workers. The pandemic shone a spotlight on just how vital they are. They are priceless. And that’s why we’re campaigning for publicly-commissioned services to budget to pay workers at least the Real Living Wage.
We are also members of the Future Social Care Coalition. This is a cross-party, cross-sector group of politicians, employer groups and unions. Together we are calling on the government to bring about seismic change and transformation of the social care sector.
