Update on our repairs service
On 8th April we’re going to be expanding our Property Services team so we can deliver our own responsive repairs.
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready to transition the service over from our contractor, Fortem. We’re really happy with the progress we’ve made in preparing things like new vans and materials, and appointing new members of the team.
We’re keen for the changeover to be as seamless as possible, so we’ve taken some outstanding jobs back from Fortem which we’re going to reassign – either to our own teams or a sub-contractor.
If you’ve previously reported a repair and you’ve been waiting longer than our usual timescales for it to be completed, we’ll contact you to arrange a suitable appointment time. We’re going to be prioritising things like waiting times, the type of work required, and any vulnerabilities you or someone in your household might have.
