Self-help resources for customers
We’re pleased to launch a set of free self-help web pages and online tools to help you do things such as:
- Find suitable work
- Improve your digital skills
- Make your money go further
- Look after your home
- Take care of your wellbeing.
Our new website tool gives you support ranging from skills building and signposting to wellbeing services to help with job searches, CV writing, financial advice and more!
We want to empower you to build skills and feel fulfilled in all areas of your life. These resources give you extra support at your fingertips, whenever you need it.
Support available
To get started, visit our self-help resources webpage.
We’re also working with third party providers to deliver even more online resources, including:
Barclays’ Digital Wings (digital inclusion)
This platform offers debt management support, e-learning and financial wellbeing workshops to build digital skills.
Sign up using this link on the Digital Wings website (using the code: NCHA).
Skillsminer (work related support)
You can build a personal profile on this online portal and it will search all job sites to show suitable job vacancies.
It can recommend courses, provide support videos, and advise on interview techniques and how to build a CV (etc.).
Togetherall (mental health)
Customers (aged 16+) can access this online mental health forum to boost mental health through peer support.
The site is moderated by professional clinicians. You can ask questions anonymously, and share wellbeing support and experiences with others. To sign up:
- Create an account on the Togetherall website
- Under ‘Which describes you?’ – select ‘I’d like to search for my organisation’
- Type ‘Nottingham Community Housing Association’ or ‘NCHA’
- Submit to complete your sign up
- Join the conversation to get the help and support you need.
All of the above resources are free for NCHA customers.
We appreciate that self-help tools are not appropriate for everyone. These resources are in addition to the support we already offer you.
Any customers who need extra support can ask a member of our team to refer them to our Community Support team for more hands-on advice and guidance.
