Meet Carly

Welcome to Carly Phillips, Scheme Manager for our newest development Farnborough Court.

Taking on a new role in NCHA, Carly will be looking after the new development of 56 flats and bungalows as they near completion and become ready for people to move in.

Only a few days into the new job, Carly is full of ideas and enthusiasm. She explains: “I’m so excited to get all the finishing touches in place and start welcoming the new residents. It’s going to be such a wonderful home for people, and I can already see that it’ll feel almost like an extended family. I can’t wait to get cracking!”

New homes for older people

Farnborough Court, a scheme of independent flats for people over 55 is due to be open in March 2025. Forming part of our flagship new development on Farnborough Road in Clifton, the new scheme sits alongside NCHA’s new state of the art workplace, Malone Terrace, a supported housing complex, and the existing community sport facilities.

As Scheme Manager, Carly’s main priority will be the comfort and wellbeing of the new residents. She’ll be welcoming people into their new home, helping them settle in, carrying out wellbeing checks, organising events and creating new links with the local community.
She brings with her 20 years of experience at NCHA - much of that in the Your Money Matters team – and she’ll be able to use her knowledge to support residents with financial issues, benefits and care needs.

Tour the new flats

Later this month Carly will be welcoming people over to Farnborough Court to view two show flats so people can get a firsthand idea of what living at Farnborough Court will be like.

Carly explains: “I’ll be hosting viewings from 15 November. We’ve already had a lot of interest, and there’s only fifteen one-bedroom flats still available for rent. I strongly recommend that if you’re interested, contact us on FarnboroughCourtManagement@ncha.org.uk to book a slot. I’ll look forward to welcoming you!”

Looking ahead, Carly plans to recruit a Scheme Assistant to support her at Farnborough Court for 17.5 hours each week. Keep an eye out for that opportunity on our jobs pages.
