Tackling homelessness
True to our roots, we maintain a strong commitment to supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
William Lyon Court opened in 2016 offering temporary accommodation to young people aged 18 and over. Located in Loughborough, its aim was to help people to find a permanent place to call home. The service provides 13 one bedroom, fully-furnished properties.
In total, we manage seven services that provide support to people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
We’re also a founding member of Homes for Cathy, a national alliance of organisations working together to end homelessness.
Living at William Lyon Court and receiving the support that was available to me there, was a really important step on my way to living independently.
